Software

OneLight recently introduced a firmware update that improves the reliability of the instrument communications. We recommend that all users update their systems to the latest firmware.

Most OneLight Spectra units with serial numbers 10070 or higher will have the latest new firmware version 1.0.9 installed. Serial numbers 10060 or higher will have firmware version 1.0.8 installed and should be updated. Most units with serial numbers less than 10060 will have firmware version 1.0.1 or earlier installed. Units with this firmware version require a no-charge factory upgrade (please contact Onelight for details).

If you are not sure what firmware version is on your unit check the status window in the OLSpectraGen software.

The previously released OLSpectraCal program has been discontinued. It is incorporated in the current release package of OLSpectraGen (versions 0.15.1 or higher). If you have a copy of OLSpectraCal installed on your computer you will need to uninstall it as it is redundant and may not work with with the new DLL installed with the current release for firmware version 1.0.9.
