FAQ
How do I determine the firmware version of my OneLight Spectra?
OneLight software is offered in different flavours that work with different versions of the firmware on the FPGA in the OneLight Spectra. There are two ways to find out what firmware version is installed on your OneLight Spectra:
1) Turn the OneLight Spectra unit on and start the OLSpectraGen software. It’s status window displays the FPGA version as shown in the figure below. You can update the status display anytime by pressing the Status button.
2) Turn the OneLight Spectra unit on and run the OLEngineExample program that gets installed with your OneLight software (look in C:\Program Files\OneLight\OLSpectraGen). It has a similar status window showing the FPGA version as in the figure below. If the status window is blank or garbled you may need to press the Reset or the Reconnect button. You can also update the status display by pressing the Get Settings button.
