OneLight's founding team consists of Nick MacKinnon (President and CEO) and Dr. Ulrich Stange (VP Research and Development).

Nick MacKinnon

Nick MacKinnon is President, CEO and founder of OneLight. Providing the vision for OneLight's development and growth, he brings years of experience to the sales and marketing of analytical instrumentation, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the medical device development process. His extensive network of associates at leading institutions and companies, coupled with a broad, in-depth understanding of the business opportunities in the field of medical photonics, are key strategic assets to the company.

Dr. Ulrich Stange

Dr. Ulrich Stange is OneLight's Vice-President, Research and Development. Dr. Stange provides a structured and disciplined approach to device hardware/software development and documentation, as well as managing the Company's operations during its initial development phases. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics, specializing in Applied Optics, and with extensive experience in the development of software and control algorithms in both biomedical and spectroscopy areas, his abilities are key to the continuing technical development of the control systems and hardware behind OneLight's innovative product line.

Michael Albin, PhD

Dr. Albin received his Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University in 1984, and did Post Doctoral work at the California Institute of Technology from 1984 to 1988. He joined SYVA Company in 1988 as Senior Scientist, Research & Development. In 1989, he joined Applied Biosystems and continued working in more prominent capacities; becoming Director, Science & Technology in 1996. In 1998, he was promoted to Vice President, Science & Technology. The merger of Applied Biosystems and Celera in 2001 resulted in his appointment as Vice President, Strategic Technologies for the newly combined Applera Corporation. Since late 2002, Dr. Albin has been an independent Life Science Consultant in British Columbia, Canada. He has been a member of the boards of directors of Interomex BioPharmaceuticals and Micralyne; the editor of Biomedical Microdevices; a member of the Industrial Advisory Boards of the University of California San Diego, Pennsylvania State University and University of California Riverside; a visiting scholar at Stanford University and on the Editorial Board of Biomedical Microdevices. He holds three patents and has written numerous technical articles and papers.

Mr. Bruno Jaggi, P.Eng.

Mr. Jaggi is a Professional Engineer with over 20 years of health technology experience in biomedical research and in the medical device industry.. His workshops and courses on international medical device regulatory requirements are well known. A faculty member at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) since 1999, Bruno is currently an instructor in the Biomedical Engineering Technology Program and an engineering consultant to the Health Applied R&D Program at BCIT's Technology Centre, where he carries out medical device research and development. Prior to joining BCIT, Mr. Jaggi was Senior Vice President and Chief Engineer at Xillix Technologies Corp. From 1983 to 1993, he was a research engineer and a member of the scientific professional staff at the British Columbia Cancer Research Centre, and he remains a consulting scientist at the B.C. Cancer Agency. He has authored more than 50 papers and patents related to image cytometry, endoscopic tissue fluorescence, digital camera technology, digital image processing and microscopy. Mr. Jaggi received a Master's Degree in Engineering Sciences (M.A.Sc.) from Simon Fraser University in 1989, holds a degree in Electrical Engineering (B.A.Sc.) from the University of British Columbia and was trained in mechanical and electrical engineering (Dipl.T.) in Switzerland.

Mr. Milton Woensdregt, CA

Mr. Woensdregt brings 27 years of senior accounting and management experience and serves as Chairman of the Board for OneLight Corporation's parent company Tidal Photonics Inc. He is a chartered accountant with extensive experience with reporting and compliance procedures for publicly traded companies. He is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Great Canadian Gaming Corporation - a multi-jurisdictional gaming and entertainment operator with facilities in British Columbia, Ontario, Nova Scotia and Washington State. Prior to this he served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer of The Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) in Vancouver. The PHSA manages specialized health care services across British Columbia, and has an annual operating budget of approximately $1.2 billion. Mr. Woensdregt previously spent six years as Senior Vice President, Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Terasen Inc., a leading provider of energy and utility services that was recently acquired by Kinder Morgan, Inc. Before joining Terasen, Mr. Woensdregt spent nearly twenty years at KPMG and its predecessor firms, and was named a partner in 1991.
